Wordless Wednesday {linky}

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

Christmas was pretty crazy this year! Went to parent's house (2 hours away) for Christmas, but my hubby had to work Christmas eve to Christmas morning (so his soldiers could have off) so Christmas morning we went up to his work--where santa decided to stop! We can't imagine Christmas morning without him, so we managed around that!

Kids made gingerbread men instead of houses this year!

And, of course, read "the night before Christmas" with our foster kitties and then read the real story of Jesus. A tradition that will never be broken!

And these 2 foster kittis HAVE been adopted! So happy they could be a sweet Christmas present for a few kids. =)

  1. That was so kind and generous of your husband to choose to work so his soldiers didn't have to. And it's great that you got to hang out with him while he was there :)

    Happy New Year!

  6. I am so glad the kitties were adopted. I'd like to have one of those giant gingerbread cookies…maybe without quite so much candy. Thank your husband for his service and for his kindness to his troops. Happy New Year.

  14. What a special guy to give up time for his soldiers so they could spend time with their families. And you for your patients to work around it. Once day your kids will understand the sacrifice you both go through for serving the USA, thank you for that, Wishing you Happy New Year!! Stop by my Linky as well. Oh! My Heartsie
