WORDLESS WEDNESDAY
3 little kittens (only 3 days old) were brought into the shelter last week. No momma in sight. At that age, the kittens don't have much hope for survival. Luckily, the Kitten Division near us, had a momma cat that just had her babies. With the only chance we had, we took the kittens to this momma cat. The momma cat (Sally) took to the babies instantly. What a relief!
The next day, the real Momma cat was found and brought in. We brought the kittens to her and instantly the mom knew they were her babies. It brought tears to our eyes to see them reunited....what a sweet beginning to their lives!

We named the mommy "Morgana", the solid black girl is "Gwen", b&w boy "Arthur" and the white & grey tabby "Merlin"

Obviously this (retired) teacher can't follow instructions! I posted my link in the blog section...sorry! I love the kitties pics. We have 7 dogs so no kittens. My post was a dog today and I've noticed several other ww posts with animals. Great minds think alike!

How sweet- I really enjoyed these! My kids all came running to see! What a great cat for helping these little babies until their mama came!
Our mommy was so touched by this post. Our Astrid was an abandoned kitty who was raised by a foster mom kitty (Lisbeth's mom). We adopted them together, but they don't seem to have the same bond as true siblings. That's okay since there are eight of us. But, we were so happy that the kits now get to be raised by their actual mom. A true semi-happy ending. We will be praying that they all find great homes when they are old enough.
