Wordless Wednesday {{linky}}

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY
Last week, my daughter had a sleep study done. It took 6 months to get this appointment, so it was pretty important. She has large tonsils, snores, restless and low evergy for the most part during the day. Not sure what's going on, but a sleep study is part of figuring it out.

We are both artists, so COLOR is everywhere for us. One all the colorful wires were hooked up, she asked me if she was going to dream of rainbows. LOL too sweet!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As some of ya'll are aware, I've been doing some re-wiring with my blog and facebook, trying to really figure things out. One of those things is figuring out why my FB page is only reaching "20%" of people who have liked my page. SOOOO, head over to my FB Page  HERE and follow these instructions:
Maybe then I'll reach more News Feeds. =)
Lastly, take this little poll by just clicking a dot, thats it, no signing in needed. Ya'll as awesome!
Now, LET'S GET WORDLESS!!
What a good sport!!! I hope she does dream rainbows!
I also hope you can figure out what is causing her restless sleep.
Thanks for hosting and all the best!
We skipped the sleep study - L had huge tonsils that made him have sleep apnea. We eventually had them removed. Best thing we did, the sleep apnea was frightening.
Here are several posts I wrote about our journey and decision, hope they help:
Scroll down a bit to see them. Good luck!
I love color to! I'm a college art instructor. I'm into design and illustration. My husband makes jewelry and sculpture.
I hope she did dream about rainbows!
It just so happens that I am running through WW early this week, on account of the fact that I am heading in for the second night of my latest sleep study tonight!
Hope they are able to find out what they need to in order to help your daughter - I know my earlier one did me a lot of good!
Happy WW!
I can't tell you how relived I was to read all those wires attached to your little one were for a sleep study. When I first saw the picture I was thinking "oh no!" Not that I think sleep problems aren't a major issue. I have a daughter who had severe reflux as a baby and now asthma, both of which have caused major sleep issues....I hope you get some answers and some solutions!
I bet it would be tough to fall to sleep with all those wires. Good luck with fixing the problems.
What a great attitude! Love that she was so positive about it!
It looks like she did well! I hope you get some answers!
For the FB thing - it doesn't matter if they select "Show in News Feed" because that is actually the default when you like a page, and if you don't want to see any of their updates you choose to hide them, but by default "Show in News Feed" is selected. I know this because I try to stay on top of things by following the FB Page for Fort Hood, and I still barely see their updates, and I WANT to! It's based on the FB algorithm who sees your post, but if you're reaching 20% you're doing well! Most only reach 10% on average! *Sigh* Silly Facebook! :/
My son had a sleep study and he had the same symptoms. He ended up getting his tonsils out and he was been doing very well ever since. Hope the results come back quickly.
Such a brave girl! Even though it's a sleep study, looking at all those wires makes me nervous. Hope her issues are resolved soon :)
So glad to read that she was only undergoing a test! At first glance at the thumbnail image, I thought she was really sick in the hospital. I hope the study is revealing and they can help her sleep issues. I took your quiz. I am an early bird on FB! :) Have a great week.
I hope the sleep study helps them figure out what's going on. We've been in a bit of the same boat with our 2.5 yo daughter and I think a sleep study may be on the horizon for us.
I hope the study helps your cutie! My dad had one a few weeks ago but it was pointless because the environment was too loud to actually sleep.
